My close friend and bandmate, Joel Martin Smith, has passed. My heart and prayers go out to his daughter Alex and family.
He was an incredibly talented musician and songwriter. One of the best slide guitarists there ever was. He was also a master carpenter - he built my studio.
I will miss him dearly.
